Provision Networks’ Virtual Access Suite to Supplement HP Virtual Desktop Infrastructure

June 25, 2007 – Reston, VA -- Provision Networks, a global provider of enterprise virtual desktop deployment and application delivery solutions, announced today that its entire product portfolio, including the market-leading Virtual Access Suite, can be resold by HP under a distribution agreement the companies have signed.

The acclaimed Provision Networks Virtual Access Suite is the only enterprise-class desktop connection manager that consolidates the delivery of applications and deployment of desktops from a centrally managed infrastructure consisting of terminal servers, blade PCs (and other physical desktops), as well as virtual infrastructures such as VMware VI3, Virtual Iron, XenEnterprise and Microsoft Virtual Server.

HP’s Virtual Desktop Infrastructure provides customers the hardware, management software, virtualization software and services they need to implement a secure, flexible alternative to traditional desktop computing.

Customers who choose to integrate the Provision Networks Virtual Access Suite as part of an HP Virtual Desktop Infrastructure can improve IT efficiency and lower their total cost of ownership.

"Based on IDC market forecasts for shared remote desktops, we estimate to virtualize more than one million desktops within the next 18 months with HP."
